Milestones Trust is a health and social care charity supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex behavioural needs. The Trust provides residential, nursing and supported living services to over 500 people living in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
Volunteer Gardening Role – Help Keep Our Outdoor Spaces Beautiful (Fishponds)
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable volunteer to help keep our garden areas in Fishponds tidy and welcoming.
What you’ll be doing:
- Pulling weeds and clearing the patio area
- Removing dead or unwanted plants
- Tidying the front garden
- Helping remove a fallen tree branch
Commitment:
- Monthly support
- Flexible days and times to suit you
This is a great opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, make a visible difference, and be part of a supportive environment. No previous experience needed—just a willingness to lend a hand!

As with all our volunteer roles, a DBS check will be required, and we will request two references. Volunteers will also need to complete our online or in-person training before starting their role. Ongoing support will be available from both the volunteer team and a designated member of staff within the service.
