We are looking for a volunteer to support a mental health service in Filton by helping residents take part in a range of meaningful and enjoyable activities. This could include arts and crafts, cooking, baking, or spending time out in the community—such as visiting cafés, parks, or other local places of interest.
This role can take place weekly or fortnightly, with flexibility around timings to suit the volunteer. We’re looking for someone friendly, patient, and engaging, who enjoys creativity, shared activities, and supporting people to build confidence and connection.
Full training and guidance will be provided by the service.
As with all our volunteer roles, a DBS check will be required, and we will request two references. Volunteers will also need to complete our online or in‑person training before starting their role. Ongoing support will be available from both the volunteer team and a designated member of staff within the service.
