Do you have the passion and know-how to connect Bristol’s brilliant businesses with one of the city’s most vibrant cultural events?

Bristol Jazz Festival is looking for a skilled Marketing & Sponsorship Lead to help us build and deliver a campaign that connects local businesses with our 2026 Festival — through financial support, in-kind partnerships, and long-term collaboration.

You’ll be part of a small, passionate volunteer team, working closely with our Artistic & Production Director to coordinate and drive forward our existing ideas, resources, and contacts. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who can bring clarity, creativity, and strategy to a campaign with huge potential.

What you will do:

  • Lead a coordinated sponsorship campaign for Bristol Jazz Festival 2026
  • Use existing materials (pitch decks, past contacts, sponsorship tiers) to reach new and returning sponsors
  • Build relationships with local businesses and organisations across Bristol
  • Promote the values of partnership and community that underpin the Festival
  • Help us reach our target of £30,000 in combined cash and in-kind support
  • Be a core part of shaping the Festival’s future, both in 2026 and beyond

We are looking for someone who:

  • has experience in marketing, sponsorship, business development, or fundraising — ideally in the arts or events sectors
  • understands how to engage businesses with compelling messaging and partnership offers
  • is confident working independently, but enjoys being part of a collaborative and supportive volunteer team
  • can give around 2 days per week (flexibly), from now until at least May 2026
  • believes in the power of live music, creativity, and culture to bring people together.

We will provide:

  • Clear goals, direction and regular support from our Artistic & Production Director
  • Access to our sponsorship pack, contact database, and digital assets
  • All necessary expenses covered
  • A unique opportunity to shape one of Bristol’s leading festivals from the inside
  • Our 2026 campaign theme is:
Be Present. Be Real. Be Loud. Be Late. Be Close. Be Hear. Be Part of It.
  • Be Bristol Jazz Festival 2026.
  • Be a Partner.
