Are you passionate about jazz and skilled in the art of marketing? The Bristol Jazz Festival is on the lookout for a dynamic and creative individual to take on the pivotal role of marketing coordinator for our upcoming festival from March 22-24, 2024. We need someone to help us get the message to as many people as possible. The role is flexible and the commitment is 1-2 days per week
Role Overview: Marketing Coordinator
As our Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in spreading the rhythm and vibes of the Bristol Jazz Festival across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

Social Media Campaigns: Plan and execute an engaging social media campaign leading up to and during the festival, creating a buzz among our audience.

Press Releases: Craft compelling press releases to capture the essence of the festival, showcasing the highlights and attracting media attention.

Media Outreach: Contact local and national press, listings websites, as well as local TV and radio stations to secure coverage and interviews.

What is the commitment?:
This is a flexible role and hours are not fixed. As the festival approaches the commitment will be greater as aim to sell out as many concerts as possible.
