Every year the Clifton Suspension Bridge Museum welcomes approximately 70,000 visitors from all over the UK and world. We have an exhibition telling the story of the bridge, including a small number of artefacts, as well as provide a growing tours programme, and archival collection. Our Front of House Volunteers provide a warm welcome to all visitors, answering questions both about the bridge and Bristol and run our small shop, putting visitor purchases through the till.
The Clifton Suspension Bridge Museum is operated by the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust (CSBT), a not-for-profit charity, which has been operational since 1 January 1953. The Trust does not receive any local or national government funding, so raises money through tolls to preserve the bridge in perpetuity to the highest possible standards.
