About
A free museum telling the story of Bristol's most famous bridge.
Every year the Clifton Suspension Bridge Museum welcomes approximately 80,000 visitors from all over the UK and world. We have an exhibtion telling the story of the bridge, including a small number of artefacts, as well as provide a growing tours programme, and archival collection. We aim to provide a warm welcome to all visitors, answering questions both about the bridge and Bristol.
The Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre is operated by the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust (CSBT), a not-for-profit charity, which has been operational since 1 January 1953. The Trust does not receive any local or national government funding, so raises money through tolls to preserve the bridge in perpetuity to the highest possible standards.
