This project will provide a warm, welcoming space for families struggling in the face of the current financial crisis.

  • To engage in informal conversation and listen to parents providing emotional support where appropriate.

  • Participate in a range of activities e.g., children’s craft, reading stories, cooking alongside families and staff.
  • To help clearing setting up and clearing away after sessions e.g., washing up.

We will offer you:

  • Initial induction
  • An enhanced DBS
  • Regular supervision, support, and training where appropriate to develop your skills necessary for sessions.
  • Volunteer meetings with the opportunity to socialise with fellow volunteers and discuss project development.

The role will provide you with the opportunity to give something to the community and develop the valuable work of the Farm.
