Main activities and tasks

To be part of a group that helps:

  • Maintain the food growing areas and harvest produce for the café and shop.
  • Develop and maintain areas of the garden to be used by other groups e.g., children’s garden, wildlife area.
  • Maintain and develop gardens for visitors to enjoy.

Skills, Experience and Qualities You Need

  • Ability to be part of a team and work with others to complete tasks.
  • Able to take own initiative.
  • Ability to work independently to complete tasks.
  • Some experience of gardening desirable but not essential.

Support and training

  • Initial induction
