This summer, The Vench is once again opening its doors to support local children and families — and we need your help to keep the kitchen running!
From Wednesday 23rd July to Tuesday 3rd September, we’ll be cooking up to 100+ hot, home-cooked meals a day to offer free food to the community. With staff capacity stretched thin, we're looking for passionate volunteers to help plan, prepare, and serve meals.
Volunteer Shifts:
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
At The Vench Adventure Playground, LockleazeWhether you’re a seasoned cook or just keen to lend a hand, we’d love to have you on board. In return, you’ll receive:
A Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification
Unlimited tea and coffee
And a real sense of pride knowing you’ve made a differenceHelp us continue serving delicious, nutritious meals — and keep the community spirit cooking!
