Why volunteer:

  • You’ll be helping to work towards re-opening the farm in Spring.
  • Give something back to your community.
  • You’ll get to know new people in the area.
  • You’ll learn new skills, as well as putting existing DIY or construction skills to good use.
  • You’ll improve your wellbeing.

Can you:

  • Work independently?
  • Be part of a team and work with others?
  • Be active for a couple of hours?
  • Be happy being outside in all weather conditions?
  • Complete DIY or construction tasks independently, after being shown what to do?
  • Use tools safely?

We need help with:

Making the site safe for re-opening. A volunteering session might include:

  • Help with construction, including new areas, animal pens, fencing etc
  • To carry out DIY tasks
  • Carry out general garden maintenance, e.g. Grass/nettle cutting, leaf clearing
