Do you enjoy word games, conversation, and spending time with people? We're looking for a volunteer to join someone we support at our Tramways service for regular games of Scrabble and friendly social interaction.
What will you be doing?
- Play Scrabble with a person we support
- Enjoy conversation and social interaction while spending time together
- Support someone to take part in an activity they enjoy
- Share knowledge and interests through friendly discussion
Who are we looking for?
You don't need any previous experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys Scrabble, has an interest in a variety of subjects, and is friendly, patient, and reliable. Staff will be available to provide support and guidance as needed.
When?
Ideally weekly or monthly, depending on what works best for you and the service.

For all our volunteer roles a DBS check will be carried out, and we will request two references. All volunteers will need to complete online volunteer training in preparation for their role. Volunteers are supported by both the volunteer team and a designated member of staff within the service.
