We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to join a person living in one of our registered mental health services in Southville for some fun games of pool. He’s keen to find someone who shares his interest and can enjoy a relaxed, sociable time together.
What will you be doing?
- Playing pool on the service’s own pool table for the first few sessions
- Building a positive, trusting relationship
- Once comfortable, heading out together to local pubs or social clubs to play pool
This is a great opportunity if you enjoy pool, meeting new people, and creating meaningful connections.
When?
We’re looking for someone who can volunteer monthly, during the day on weekdays. We’re happy to discuss what works best for you.
What’s in it for you?
- Make a real difference to someone’s wellbeing
- Share your love of pool and social activities
- Gain experience in a supportive environment
- Travel expenses covered for each volunteering shift
- Activity costs will be agreed with the individual and the service
If you’re friendly, patient, and enjoy a good game of pool, we’d love to hear from you!
