We are looking for volunteers to help across our three Reuse Shop; these are based at Bristol's recycling centres in Avonmouth, St Phillips (Days Rd) and Hartcliffe Way.
We have a range of tasks which volunteers can get involved in; from helping customers on the shop floor, to function testing electrical items and helping to clean and prepare items for the shop floor.
At our Avonmouth Reuse Shop we have bike workshop and have volunteers who work to repair bicycles for resale.
We also have a eBay shop for selling more specialist and unusual items - we always need volunteer help to research and list for eBay.
Volunteers are able to come on an ad hoc basis to work around other commitments or can have a regular slot each week/ month. We particularly need more help on the weekends when the shops are busiest.
Bristol Waste can help with travel and lunch expenses, and training will be provided, so no prior experience needed, just a passion for all things reused, pre-loved and second hand!
