Hope Against Suicide is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital listening, signposting, and advocacy support to anyone experiencing mental health challenges. We aim to be a lifeline for those at risk of taking devastating actions. Our three core aims are to get the community talking, improve mental health, and prevent suicide. Through our work, we strive to create a healthier, more compassionate community where hope can be found.
We have recently launched a Listening Hub in Bristol’s busy shopping centre, a walk-in service supporting individuals, families, and local workers. This complements our Mental Health Responders and enhances community outreach. We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team and help raise mental health awareness while preventing suicide.
