Help girls know they can do anything by volunteering with us.

We are looking for adult volunteers, to help run a Brownie group in Westbury Park

Brownies is the Girlguiding section for girls aged 7-10yrs old. Brownies focus on fun, learning and adventure through activities, badge work and outdoor and indoor adventurous activities to build confidence, learn new skills and make friendships in a supportive space. Brownies earn interest badges in areas like crafts, nature, or digital skills and participate in events like camping and community projects, guided by adult volunteers. Examples of some of the things we do: campfires, craft, climbing, circus skills, cooking as well as going on trips and of course as an adult volunteer you get the chance to try all these things too!

As well as providing opportunities for the children we work with we also provide full training and transferable skills for our volunteers, and you can gain skills to boost your CV in team work, communication, leadership and working with young people.

If you are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of young people (as well as having fun yourself!) and are ready to take on this rewarding role, please contact us at  NW_Brownie_Coordinator@girlguidingbsg.org.uk or sign up on our website: https://www.girlguiding.org.uk/get-involved/become-a-volunteer/register-to-volunteer/.
