If you have experience in curating, exhibition planning, or interpretation, we’d be very interested to hear from you.

Glenside Hospital Museum develops at least one new exhibition each year and is always looking to explore fresh, thought-provoking themes that connect with our unique collections. Whether you have a background in museums, research, or creative storytelling, there are exciting opportunities to contribute to meaningful exhibitions that engage the public and deepen understanding of mental health history.

The museum is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so volunteer shifts typically take place on those days and usually last around 4 hours. While we can be flexible, we generally ask volunteers to commit to a couple of days each month.

It would be helpful if you had access to a laptop, especially for research/ design tasks.
