Who are we?
We are the MAZI Project is a youth-led charity empowering disadvantaged 16-25 years old through food.
Our mission: For every young person to feel love through food!
Mαζί means together in Greek and together, we want to create a city where EVERYONE has access to fresh and sustainable food
What we are looking for?
- you must have a full DBS check for this volunteer role
Tuesday betwen 2pm-8:30pm Volunteer delivery drivers to use their own vehicle to deliver 5-10 MAZI meal kits across Bristol. Boxes to be collected from our warehouse in Bedminster and delivered on the same day to our box members. Each driver will be given a full induction and signed up to our delivery database making it simple and safe to follow the delivery route. We break our deliveries into regions of Bristol so each delivery round is localised within a particular region of Bristol. This means that once collected from our Bedminster warehouse your delivery round should take betwen 1.5-2.5 hours to complete.
Example of delivery rounds we are looking for help with:
Brislington
Bedminster
Hartcliffe (short round)
Southmead
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to join our friendly MAZI community. All drivers we use must have a clean driving licence, held for more than 3 years, be 21 years or older, be DBS checked. If you are able to make a long term, regular commitment to the MAZI project then we will be happy to process a DBS. You do not have to be available every Tuesday but we are looking to work with volunteers who can make a regular and consisten commitment to the project.
