I work as a writer and editor. I have managed magazines and even published my own, which won an award from the British Society of Magazine Publishers. I once started and managed a kindergarten in my local community and with a friend I opened a pop up retail shop that showcased local makers and artists. We renovated the shop from scratch, sourced stock and ran the shop for six months. I am a mother and a step mother to four children, now grown up.
