I am 62 recently found myself with some extra time, which I would like to put to use to not only support others but also in the hopes that I can also learn and expand my understanding on life in and around Bristol. I am a Disabled wheelchair user, who identifies as female. I worked for some years at WECIL, so although I maybe rusty I have a grounding in equality and working within the voluntary sector. For the last 20+ years I have been a carer for my partner who sadly passed away at the end of 2024, which now leaves me with some spare time. I am sociable and have my own transport, due to my own impairment issues I have more availability during afternoons and evenings.
