About
Specialist support worker
background in frontline support work, most recently at Jamaica Street Hostel, where I supported people facing homelessness, crisis, and complex trauma. That work taught me more than any classroom could: about systems, resilience, and what it means to hold space when there’s nothing else left to hold. I’ve also been through my own experiences of trauma, treatment, and rebuilding. These days, I’m finding a path through land-based work, growing, and seed saving, using those practices to ground myself and reconnect with purpose. I’m not part of a big organisation or project. Just someone trying to do good work from where I am, with what I have. I believe lived experience matters, not just in how we care for others, but in how we plant for the future.
