About

BDP has been supporting the people of Bristol around their drug and alcohol use for the past 40 years. Our mission is to provide treatment and support to reduce the harms associated with drugs and alcohol. We support people towards the changes they want to see in their lives.

Our current activities include:

  • Provision of advice and equipment to people who use or intend to use drugs, to support reducing the harms associated with substance use 
  • Provision of opioid substitution therapy for opioid users
  • Support for young people affected by drug and alcohol use
  • Support for people at various stages of recovery from drug and alcohol use
  • Creative and social activities to support those in recovery
