Information Support Officer for South Gloucestershire Council

I am an individual looking for volunteering oppportunities in Bristol. During my working week, I work within the Data & Performance team for South Glos council monitoring their Early Help and Education Programmes. As an International Relations and a Politics Graduate from the University of Sheffield, I have a genuine interest in the workings of the world around me and organisations that can make a positive and effective impact on local and global communities. I have had experience in a number of different sectors including education, customer service and enterprise and am always ready to embrace a challenge. My previous voluntary experiences have included providing psychosocial support as a telephone operator for the Red Cross, doing research for FareShare UK and organising activites for children at Scouts. The role of charitable organisations are valuable to many in filling the gap in state services, and I am looking for any role where I can contribute outside my working hours.
