My name's Luís, I'm originally from Portugal and have lived in Bristol for 5 years. I first came to Bristol to study Biology at UoB, but now that I've finished my Masters and decided to take a break from science, I am working as a waiter.

Despite enjoying this chapter of my life, I feel like I am missing something - I want to feel like I am making a difference in my community, which is why I am looking into volunteering opportunities!

I worked for a non-profit called 'FUZE' here in Bristol for three years, where I helped raise money for different charities through our work in the fashion/events sector. However, I am now looking to do more hands-on work with my community.
