Hi all! I come from abroad, Gibraltar to be specific, and have been living in Bristol for the past 5-ish years. I came to study at UWE and came out with two first-class degrees, a Bachelors of Psychology and a Masters of Data Science. Bristol has won my heart over and I consider this city my home away from home. I’ve worked in retail for over 2 years, and now I’ve leaned more into admin/data-centric roles over the past year.
I would love to give back to the community and use my skillset for the greater good. I am particularly passionate about supporting vulnerable people and spreading social awareness. Being a neurodivergent person myself, I am faced with challenges on a daily basis, but I muster the strength to overcome them on most days. I want to help cultivate a community that supports those most in need, those who can’t find the strength within themselves to overcome adversities.
As I work full-time during the week, I can only offer one weekend day on alternating weeks (to prevent burnout), totalling to 10-15 volunteer hours per month. As I rely on public transport, I’m open to opportunities in or close to city centre. Thank you for taking the time to read this! :)
