When I'm working I am an aerospace design engineer. I'm currently not working and so have time to give back to the community.

My name is Helen, I’m a female engineer with 20 years of experience within the aerospace industry. I’m currently taking a career break and would like to make the most of my available time to contribute to my community. I love engineering but I'd like to use the opportunity to try out something totally different and explore the things in life which will really ignite a passion within me. I don't have kids of my own but enjoy hanging out with my niece and nephew and friends' kids. If there were opportunities to promote STEM to young people that would really interest me but honestly I'd be open to trying out anything really! I'm looking for an opportunity where I can feel part of a team, make some lasting friendships and really feel like the work I'm doing is impactful.
