Hi, My name is Hannah Williams and I am 27 years old and a first year Mental Health Nursing student studying at the University of the West of England. I am passionate about helping others and wish to continue my studies after graduation and complete a Psychology Conversion Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology. As part of my current course, I am given the opportunity to attend placements at a variety of Mental Health Services within AWP. I have attended Rehabilitation Wards and an Acute Unit within the RUH in Bath. My previous working experience within Mental Health is as follows: - Senior Support Worker - Female Complex Mental Health Community Home - Teaching Assistant - Complex needs, Behavioural Issues and Autism - Second Step - Peer Mentor - Swan Advocacy - Advocate for clients with brain injury (Frenchay Brain Injury Unit) I am hoping to gain some experience working in research as this is an area that greatly interests me. I want to improve my skills within this area as I believe it will be greatly beneficial to my future studies.
