I'm a final year student at Bristol University studying English and Philosophy. Although it has taken two and a half years of procrastination, I feel compelled (through reasons both personal and political) to contribute in whatever way possible to the local community in Bristol. This city has become a second home for me and it is the most vibrant, diverse and welcoming place I have ever had the pleasure to belong. I feel as though the most effective way to give back to this wonderful city would be to volunteer in whatever capacity I can. I hope to be able to speak for those without a voice, be there for those whom need assistance, but most importantly, I want to make a positive change within the community, so that life can be a little easier for anybody benefitting from my contribution.
