Retired railwayman and former primary teacher

I'm looking to getting back into part-time supply teaching but my experience in the classroom is many years out of date now, so I have been advised it might be an idea to start with some volunteer classroom work first. I hold a PGCE, a TEFL Certificate as well as a BA and an MA. I have taught in the primary and independent sectors in the UK and in Madeira. I also did some technical training whilst I was on the railway (how to operate ramps and basic health and safety courses.

I am looking for any opportunities in primary schools where I could assist the teacher and offer help to pupils who might need additional assistance. I'm quite flexible though in what I'm willing to do, as long as it is in an educational setting.
