Provides connections - people are at the heart of what we do. Whether you’re spending time with visitors on our exhibition floor, supporting a school visit or working with our team in the office.
Learn new skills while having fun – our activities and themes are always changing and with two floors of exhibitions there is something new to learn every day.
It fits in with your life - we recognise that it’s not always easy to find the time to volunteer. Whether it’s a few hours a month or once a week – we value all contributions.
Our volunteering opportunities are regularly updated and can include:
/ Supporting children in school workshops during weekdays
/ Inspiring people of all ages during weekends and school holidays
/ Helping with special events on weekdays, evening and weekends
/ Getting behind the scenes during the weekdays
We welcome applications from people of all lived experiences and particularly those that at not well represented in the science centre sector.
You don't need to have a background in science to get involved, but you do need to be over 16 years old.
