We help, heal and home vulnerable animals in Bristol

Here for animals in need

We have been caring for the city’s pets and wildlife since 1887, helping, healing and homing thousands of vulnerable animals each year. We are proud to hold such a long heritage in Bristol, as the oldest and largest animal charity in the city. We are an independent charity, and although we are proud to be affiliated with the national RSPCA, we receive no automatic funding from them. We rely entirely on local support within the community to fund our vital work.

Our Mission

Since opening our doors in 1887, we have cared for hundreds of thousands of injured, stray, abandoned and neglected animals. It is our mission to ensure animals in need in our community receive the compassion, care and respect they deserve. We are committed to helping, healing and homing animals for as long as they need us.
