I have some experience in volunteering at a day care centre for elderly folks, which I thouroughly enjoyed and found really rewarding- and also lots of fun! I also have done babysitting on and off since I was 16, meaning I have experience working with children to, which I also very much enjoy.
I love being part of a team, especially when I know what I'm doing is making a difference and helping people, even if that just means putting a smile on their faces! I have experience working in hospitality meaning I also have good people skills.
I also have a real passion for mental health, having struggled with mine throughout my life and would be interested in how I could help others, especially through creative means.
In terms of helping make a difference, I studied sociology in sixth form and have a real interest in it, and understand that in the era we are currently in, we need a sence of community now more than ever.
