I am a final year student of Bsc Philsophy and Politics at the University of Bristol. I really want to stay in Bristol after University and establish myself in the city. My priotiries in life are addressing inequality, education, sustinable living, and having lots of fun with my friends. I am a fun and sociable person and love working in a team, I am enthusiastic and love to take on a challenge. I am looking for opportunities in Bristol that create positive social change and that benefit my community. I have fallen in love with the city since moving here: the culture, music, creativity and politics that drives the city is captivating. I am currently writing my dissertation on 'Urban Colonialism: A study of gentrifcation in Stokes Croft and St Pauls, Bristol'. It seeks to provide locals with an opportunity to have their voices heard regarding this matter, as gentrifcation defines the landscpae of the area, but there is little representation of the residents. I am looking for opportunites that will be career-enhancing. I have loads of experience working in hospitality but would love to do something different after I graduate.
