About

Protect, manage and interpret Underfall Yard in Bristol and maintain it as a working boat yard that welcomes visitors.

At the heart of Bristol’s historic and picturesque floating Harbour, Underfall Yard has been a focal point of maritime and engineering Bristol since 1809. It is a busy working environment with boatbuilders, a slipway, a visitor centre and Bristol City Council onsite. The Underfall Yard Charitable Trust operates a Volunteering Programme which adds value to everything we do. It is great way to meet people, try new things and spend time in a beautiful location.
