North Bristol Advice Centre (NBAC) is an independent charity that has been delivering advice, representation and community services across North Bristol and South Gloucestershire since 1984. Our aim is to promote social justice and combat poverty by providing free and independent advice and support.

  • Specialist welfare benefits and debt advice
  • Complex casework including representation at tribunal
  • Get Online drop-in to help people get online and develop digital skills
  • A community training hub hosting work clubs and training courses
  • Home visiting service for older people to help them stay independent

Last year we supported 1602 people, raised £2,056,449 for clients and managed £1,724,493 in debt. NBAC has the Advice Quality Standard mark.
