About
Medical Detection Dogs is a national charity that transforms lives through the incredible power of dogs. We train specialist Assistance Dogs to support people living with complex medical conditions, helping them live safer, more independent lives, while also pioneering research into the life-saving potential of canine scent detection.
Our Assistance Dogs begin their journey with dedicated volunteers who provide a loving home and essential early-life experiences. That's why we're looking for Volunteer Puppy Socialisers across the Bristol area.
As a Puppy Socialiser, you'll care for a future life-changing dog, helping them develop the confidence, skills and experiences they need before advancing in their training. It's a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference, meet like-minded people, and be part of a dog's journey to supporting someone in need.
Without Puppy Socialisers, our Assistance Dog Programme simply wouldn't exist.
Whether you're an experienced dog owner, work from home, are retired, or simply have the time and commitment to help, we'd love to hear from you. Together, we can change lives through the power of dogs.
Volunteer. Socialise. Change a life. 🐾
