About

Retired (formerly worked as an Asset Management for a Local Authority)

I formerly worked in Local Government in a management role but. I would now like to help the community in a more direct role, meeting people.

I live with my husband in Abbots Leigh,. We are active grand parents and like younger children. We also enjoy cycling and walking.

For 3 years I have been providing Event First Aid aa a volunteer with the Red Cross but sadly this branch of the Red Cross has recently folded.

Volunteering at events with the Red Cross suited my life style as I  regularly spend Autumn and early Spring out of the country. I am usually in Bristol and available from June til October (inclusive) and from December until April.(inclusive). So I cannot make a weekly commitment.

I am interested in helping disadvantaged children during the summer. I have my own car.

I would be interested in learning of any other opportunities that I could fit in with my availability.
