I advocate for freedom of expression and monitor the trials of journalists and others in Turkey, working as Turkey Adviser for Norwegian PEN.

Also, I translate Turkish literature and poetry and am a writer and poet.

Recently moved to Bristol from mid Wales, I have worked in benefits advice roles, primary care practices and have set up and run literary and translation projects.

Happy to run poetry translation/creation/divination workshops online or to use my car during this pandemic to pick up supplies for people who can't leave the house.
