Volunteer coordination plus communications and engagement. Working for Bristol's communities, all through Covid-19.

I'm a Bristolian and available to help. In April 2020's lockdown I helped a Nextdoor district to collaborate and encouraged them since to join up here too. In my day job I was a Volunteer Coordinator for the council's Covid-19 Volunteer Operations Team, matching volunteers (who came forward here on CDB) with residents who contact the We Are Bristol freephone helpline to get support, such as: telephone befriending; food shopping; prescription collections; dog-walking and more. We also helped people self-isolate for 10-days when they were advised to by Track and Trace, or Bristol's Welfare & Support team.
