Kendleshire Kids Foundation are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 'Youth Engagement Assistant' to assist with supporting the development of young people through the use of golf and other activities.
Kendleshire Kids Foundation are a forward thinking golf club who aim to create a safe and welcoming place for children and young people, who may have experienced adverse childhood experiences and trauma.

- Be comfortable working towards supporting children and young people on a 1:1 basis with the basics of golf and other mentoring activities.
- Be prepared to undertake any necessary training/development opportunities.
- Be a good listener and have the ability to respond to the individual needs of the young person.
Whilst not mandatory, it may be useful to have experience of/in the following areas: first aid, coaching, working with children and golf. Enhanced DBS certificates and safeguarding requirements will be organised and covered by the Foundation.
Please note that it is important that volunteers are able to commit to long term involvement. This is because the young people we support, may take time to feel comfortable with the adults who support them.
