About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Volunteer Coordinator to help run our busy charity shop. This role combines hands-on shop duties with the opportunity to lead and support a small team of volunteers, while also coordinating our online sales activities.  Ideally you will be available for a minimum of one day per week.

If you love working with people, have a knack for planning, and enjoy using IT and social media, this could be the perfect volunteer role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing, under the guidance of a staff member

  • Supporting the shop by sorting donations, pricing items, rotating stock, dressing mannequins, keeping the shop tidy, and occasional till operation
  • Coordinating, motivating, and supporting a team of shop volunteers
  • Planning volunteer rotas and schedules
  • Organising and overseeing online sales (e.g., eBay, social media platforms)
  • Using IT and social media to promote shop stock and events

Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For

  • Good IT and social media skills
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities
  • Ability to motivate, support, and coordinate a team of volunteers
  • Friendly, approachable, and reliable
  • Enjoys a hands-on role but also confident taking the lead
