Friends of Shirehampton library run a weekly course (every Wednesday, 18:00-19:00) for people of all ages who have little or no experience of using a computer.

Attendees work at their own pace learning: how to turn a computer on, access the internet, create an email account, send an email, access Council and Government services, access library services, understand safe online shopping, etc.

This project is delivered in partnership with Bristol Libraries and is funded by the Library Innovation Fund.

We need volunteers to help set up for the event, offer 1-2-1 guidance with attendees if needed and pack down the event. We have the IT equipment, the lesson plans - we need more volunteers to make sure this importance service continues!

When: Every week

Wednesday
18:00 - 19:00 BST
