Come and work with us in our beautiful bookshop!
We're an Oxfam book & music shop in Clifton Village, Bristol, and we're urgently in need of new volunteers on Saturdays and Sundays. There's lots of things you could help us with, including:
- Keeping our shelves on the shop floor stocked up and looking lovely
- Behind the scenes jobs: pricing & sorting donations of books and music
- Helping to run our online selling accounts: creating sales listings for books, CDs and DVDs and doing photography
- Serving customers and working at the front counter (limited availability - get in touch for details)
...any combination of the above, and many other things! No experience necessary, all training provided. Volunteers typically do one or two 4-hour shifts per week. Shifts are 9.30 - 1.30, 1.30 - 5.30, or 12-4pm on Sundays.
Tea & biscuits are provided, we can contribute to your travel costs, and if you do a whole day (2 consecutive shifts) with us we can contribute to the cost of your lunch.
We really need people for weekend shifts - but if you can't do that, we may be able to fit you in on a weekday. Please get in touch to discuss.

* We are not currently accepting new applications from people aged under 18, as a shortage of volunteers means that we can't guarantee an appropriate level of supervision right now. When this situation changes, we will be able to take on new volunteers aged 14-18. If you are in this age range, one of our other Oxfam shops in Bristol will be happy to hear from you.
