Role: WECIL and University of Bristol Co-researcher  

Commitment: Approximately 1 hour per week over 5 months

Summary: We are recruiting a group of co-researchers who will work with us and a research team from the University of Bristol.

The research team wants to learn more about how people aged over 60 connect with others and access art and culture.

The overall aim of the research is to design arts and cultural experiences that support people to feel more connected with each other.

Co-researchers

  • must be aged 60 or above
  • must identify as disabled or have a long- term health condition. This includes hidden disabilities, such as mental health and/or people with learning disabilities.

Sign up is for Phase 1 of the project which will run from May- September 2021

 

No prior experience is needed for this role; however, we are looking for co-researchers who have:

  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to talk about your everyday experiences and how you connect with others.
  • An interest in arts and culture and inclusion.
  • An interest in increasing social connectivity
  • Good communication and listening skills.

Please note:

  • You do not need to have access to a digital device or a data plan to participate as devices and data can be provided to co-researchers.
  • Vouchers will be given to co-researchers who work with us and the researchteam.
  • You can withdraw from the co-researcher role at any time without giving a reason.

When : Every month

This role is flexible. Dates and times will be arranged with the co-researchers
