About the opportunity

Bristol Amblers are a friendly and welcoming East Bristol group. As well as walks in the city, countryside and seaside, we also try and engage our minds by offering walks that nourish an interest in nature, history, the arts and the sciences. The walks are weekly, free, health walks of up to 3 miles. There are local meeting points in the city centre, bus or train station, and new walkers are welcomed. All walks are led by two trained volunteers.

About Team100 Easton

Team100 Easton is all about getting your community active, in any way you can. We are creating fun and fully accessible opportunities for the people of Easton, St Pauls and Ashley to volunteer in sport and physical activity. This doesn't just mean coaches, we are looking to help local people support groups with admin, finance, marketing, digital, catering and coaching!

What are they looking for?

We are looking for people with an interest in walking who could accompany walk leaders on recces, attend feedback and planning meetings, come on walks and offer suggestions on new and future walks. Additionally, we always need help with fundraising for trips and volunteer expenses, as well as help distributing our walk programme. If you are interested in some or all of these things please get in touch.

Practical Considerations

We do not pay volunteer expenses. Team100 Easton does support all volunteers with training and development opportunities. If you are volunteering to gain some experience, we can support you turning that experiences into qualification and hopefully paid work in the future.
