Walk & Talks are an easy and accessible way to promote physical activity whilst meeting others and having somebody to talk to. As a Walk & Talk Volunteer, you will lead on setting up a new Walk & Talk or support an existing Walk & Talk group in your local area. In this role, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and inclusive community for all parents.

What’s involved?

  • Planning and leading a Walk & Talk to support parents in your local community.
  • Advertising the Walk & Talk to ensure parents know this is available.
  • Attracting and welcoming new participants to the Walk & Talk.
  • Following NCT guidance to ensure all events are welcoming, inclusive and safe.
  • Collecting and sharing information about the difference you make to parents.
  • Promoting NCT’s values and vision in the local community.
