We're taking part in the South Bristol Arts Trail on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September, an annual weekend event celebrating creativity in the communities of Southville, Bedminster & Ashton. Oliver Woods, a local artist will be exhibiting his mixed media table top solo exhibition this year called Community Networks
  
Alongside his exhibition, we will have two workshops. 
 
Volunteers will help with setting up and packing down workshops, and supporting the workshop leaders throughout. Light refreshments will be provided.
 
Workshop Schedule
  
Saturday 19 September – Bedminster Library
  • Workshop leader: Rachel Shelley
  • T-shirt decorating with coloured vinyl. Bring your own T-shirt to upcycle or buy one on the day. Not suitable for young children as hot irons are used to seal the designs.
  • Set up: 1:30pm 
  • Workshop: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
  • Pack down: 4:00pm – 4:30pm (includes storing refreshments in the library office)
  • Shifts available: 
    • 1x 4:00pm–4:30pm
  
Sunday 20 September – Bedminster Library
  • Workshop leader: Samantha Chorley
  • Beginner-friendly macramé workshop. Learn several knot variations and make your own decorative keyring.
  • Set up: 11:30am (includes setting up refreshments – tea, coffee, biscuits)
  • Workshop: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
  • Pack down: 2:00pm – 2:30pm (includes storing refreshments in the library office)
