Migrateful is an award winning social enterprise aiming to aid asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants in their journey to integration through supporting them to run cookery classes.
To properly run a class, Migrateful needs 3-4 volunteers for each, for a total time of 5.5 hrs per class.
Typically, a volunteer can expect to: help with set up of the space; welcome participants & ensure they enjoy themselves; wash up & help pack up, enjoy a delicious meal, support a migrant-chef and learn about different cultures and food types.
Support our Sri Lankan chef at Coexist Community Kitchen on 13th September at 17:00-22:15.

Migrateful trains migrant chefs through regular workshops that prepare them to deliver cookery classes to paying customers, supported by the organisation. Founded in July 2017, it has facilitated over 3,000 classes and supported over 79 chefs from a number of different countries including Jamaica, Nigeria, Venezuela, Syria, Bangladesh, Eritrea, and China. It now operates in four regions - London, Bristol, Kent and, most recently, Brighton.
