We’re building something brand new and looking for a Designer to help shape the visual identity of our Rowdy brand from the ground up. If you’ve got a passion for noisy design, can land visuals with a bang, and love the idea of using your skills to support important causes, this is for you.
Rowdy Flux is in the earliest stages of establishing ourselves as a social enterprise. Our end goal is to support individuals and groups facing exclusion or discrimination based on their life experience or personal characteristics. We aim to fundraise for important social causes through art, expression and creativity.
We're getting ready to launch and this is our first venture into creating a unique brand look and feel. You’ll have the chance to set the tone from the very start and loads of creative freedom to push the art of the possible ? It’s a blank (ish) canvas on which to experiment, get creative, and put your stamp on something meaningful.
Our Visual Design Volunteer will design graphics and visuals for social media, the website, and anything else that captures the imagination. We'll be launching online but are also already thinking about what Rowdy Flux billboards would look like ? We've got big ideas and are keen for someone to bring the same energy to the team ?? We're also super friendly, great collaborative ideators (especially when there's snacks) and are always ready to set the tone for creative mischief ?
The kind of thing on our mind:
? Social Media Content: Design graphics, templates, and visuals for social media platforms - making sure they feel consistent and 'a bit rowdy'
⭐️ Brand Identity: Help us define the overall look and feel - we're thinking color palettes, fonts, and design styles but we're drowning in Pinterest boards
?️ Website and Marketing Materials: Create eye-catching visuals for our website, email campaigns, or promotional materials (Rowdy Flux business cards might be fun...)
? Feedback Loop: We are all learning as we go, so you need to be open to feedback and willing to tweak designs as we refine our identity. We're all in the same boat and will welcome your feedback for us with equal enthusiasm!
Since we’re still figuring things out, a flexible, experimental mindset is key - being comfortable with a bit of chaos is probably helpful. The rest of the team are also volunteers so we are very much familiar with the reality of giving time when there's life space and brain energy to allow it ? We welcome anyone who shares our passion to *create for good* and want this opportunity to be accessible and inclusive, regardless of your background or how you process the world. If we can do something to support you in doing your thing, we're all ears to make that happen ?
