Bristol After Stroke are looking to recruit a new member to the board of Trustees with a background in HR who can support the charity to promote a healthy and lawful working environment for our employees and volunteers. The individual will support with advice to the board on policies, procedures, and records compliant with employment law that promote the wellbeing of staff/volunteers. They may also get involved in other processes such as interviews or appraisals. Supporting Bristol After Stroke to have a close and supported environment for our staff and volunteers will be key to this role.

The new Trustee will bring a variety of skills, perspectives, and experiences, to join our Board to help us shape our charity’s future. This is an exciting time to be involved in the charity and we are looking for someone who is engaged with the cause, energetic and passionate. You will be able to think strategically and practically about the challenges and opportunities the organisation may face, whilst also providing leadership, scrutiny and support.
