Do you have an eye for research and a knack for fundraising? STAND is looking for a Trust and Grants Research Volunteer to support our mission of providing prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation services to amputees across Africa.
As a Trust and Grants Research Volunteer, you will play a key role in identifying funding opportunities, researching potential donors, and assisting with grant applications. This is a fantastic opportunity for students, recent graduates, or professionals looking to gain experience in nonprofit fundraising and development.
What You’ll Do:

Research potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities

Analyse fundraising trends and best practices relevant to STAND’s mission

Assist in drafting compelling grant applications and funding proposals

Maintain and update donor databases

Support donor engagement and relationship-building efforts

Contribute to digital fundraising campaigns and content creation
What We’re Looking For:

Strong research skills and a willingness to learn about fundraising

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Attention to detail and organisational skills

Familiarity with social media for digital fundraising (preferred but not essential)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
