Do you have an eye for research and a knack for fundraising? STAND is looking for a Trust and Grants Research Volunteer to support our mission of providing prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation services to amputees across Africa.


As a Trust and Grants Research Volunteer, you will play a key role in identifying funding opportunities, researching potential donors, and assisting with grant applications. This is a fantastic opportunity for students, recent graduates, or professionals looking to gain experience in nonprofit fundraising and development.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities

  • Analyse fundraising trends and best practices relevant to STAND’s mission

  • Assist in drafting compelling grant applications and funding proposals

  • Maintain and update donor databases

  • Support donor engagement and relationship-building efforts

  • Contribute to digital fundraising campaigns and content creation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong research skills and a willingness to learn about fundraising

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Familiarity with social media for digital fundraising (preferred but not essential)

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
